So what’s on Allan’s mind, regarding the unpaid salaries

On August 1st, 2014, we started working from home, and had to leave the office a few days earlier.

113 days ago, in a statement to The Telegraph’s reporter, Lauren Davidson, Allan and Lance told that they will “resolve most of the debt in the coming days”.

Well, that obviously didn’t happened. Since then, Qtrax has paid 3 staff members, about 30% of their debt, and to additional staff, about 10% of the debt – all together about $12K out of $190K in total owed, to eight former staff members.

So what’s on Allan Klepfisz & Lance J.O. Ford’s mind? Why aren’t they paying the people they’ve hired? their own staff, people who worked for more than a year at Qtrax, came in day after day for long hours, developed and protected your own fort.

Allan and Lance are now, as always, fundraising for Qtrax, once again. This time they would like to conquer the world with a new mobile app. They have the money to pay us, but why bother looking back? why not just run away and hide behind the corporate veil, if you can?

They are looking into the future and hiding behind the corporate veil. They save their funds for the future, rather than for completing the mess they’ve created in the past.

Allan and Lance now plan to conquer the music world, this time by a revolutionary mobile app (sounds familiar, right?). In their mind, they need to save the monies to endorse their own copious expenses, and develop the new mobile. Not to mention about maintaining the expensive Manhattan office (just a few blocks from the record labels, of course), and the costly travels around the world (after every dumb ass, that whistled Allan something about a sucker that maybe wants to invest).

Allan and Lance, the way we see it, are playing the time factor. In their mind, with time we will lose our strength and unity. In other words, the more time they’ll wait, the less time and energy we’ll have to continue our fight on our lost salaries. They think that next time they would like to launch a massive PR campaign, they will be able to “buy us” in a much lower price than what we currently demand – the exact sum owed us for salaries they did not pay. Not a dollar more.

We guess that Mr. Klepfisz and the marketing guru Mr. Ford just don’t know the patience and endurance abilities of their own former team. We are now going anywhere. Until you guys will pay what you owe us in full, we will continue our online search and update our readers about how you move forward leaving slashed and burnt ground behind.

What’s the Story with Qtrax’s Patent?

This is so weird and confusing. Can someone enlighten us please?
Through our online search, we found a formal document of a patent, that was assigned to Sony Music Entertainment by Qtrax on June 2014.
Qtrax told The Telegraph reporter, that they didn’t have the funds, and therefore had to turn their back on their own staff, and left without paying salaries.
According to online publications, Sony is the 4th biggest patent owner in the US (see also this). We definitely don’t think Sony buys anything for dimes & nickels.
So first, IF Qtrax sold Sony a patent, why they didn’t use these funds to pay us? What did they use the funds for?
And the second question – IF Sony purchased an asset, than why we can’t any records for its price/value in their financial reports of this time period? Isn’t it a public company that must inform its own investors on gains & expenses? We couldn’t find it neither here, here, nor here.
